The story was simple and went from time to time through pacing and tonal shifts that made the film feels more juicy than it actually is, why? Because it relies on our three great leads, and where their legs take them. A great memorable quote from the La Haine movie on - Vinz: It's about a society on its way down. The message is clear, you rather be from the higher class, or the lower class, and whatever class you're from, you'll eventually have two options, you either be good or bad. But it wasn't that dynamic in regard to its story and message. The film was very dynamic, whether it was with the way it shot, or the way our fantastically portrayed characters interfered with each other. Not only because it brilliantly shed the light over racism and ethnic targeting in one of the biggest richest most well know countries on earth, no, it's a reminder for how important and powerful art and Cinema can be, by accurately reflecting the real face of our systems and on what laws our societies actually built on! I'm sure that La Haine was the reason of a lot of angry faces back then! La Haine is one of the most important films I've ever watched.
You can't dodge a bullet, you just can't! Whether this bullet was your future, your destiny, your punishment, or simply your time! In this rotten society, you'll land hard, on your face, in the mud.
